From an early age music has been a crucial part of my life. My father, a musician himself, inspired me to make music. This choice would later, as it turned out, shape the man I’ve become. Once I turned 18, I went to Australia, eager to escape my familiar surroundings and challenge myself to discover the unknown. There I found what I had been looking for; music was not only an escape, it shaped my story and gave me a way to share that story with the world.
My most popular release to date. Based on my translation of the hit dutch song ‘Het Is Een Nacht’ by Guus Meeuwis, I teamed up with DJ The Boy Next Door to bring us this hit song.
After Rainfall
My first translation, After Rainfall is based on ‘Het Regent Zonnestralen’ van Akda en de Munnik and became a viral sensation in the Netherlands and Beyond.

Did you know? Despite being a solo singer-songwriter, I do have a musical ‘other half’. My pianist, backing vocalist and bandleader Tjesse Hoebe and I met through a local music project, and now, many years later, we are not only close friends but also musical partners. We’ve done close to a 100 shows together and there will be many more to come!
