Welcome, I’m Lucas. A 25 year old sing- and songwriter from the Netherlands. And here is where I tell my story.

I grew up in a small town in the Netherlands, yet from a young age, I dreamed beyond its confines. I wanted to explore the stars and be the first musician on the moon. So at the age of ten I wrote my first song, together with my father, who inspired me to make music before I could even walk. ‘Go to the Moon’ was released, and as you might suspect, a young boy standing out like that was met with a lot of resistance from other kids. Yet they did not deter me from my dream, and when I turned 18, I decided to really leave my confines and travel to the other side of the world. There, in Australia, everything finally clicked, and soon as I returned to the Netherlands, I began my musical career.

Since then I have signified what is worth most to me through my music and my tattoo’s. To be authentically me is to be a musician, and that means never giving up on the dream of that small town boy I once was, and will always be.
